Scaling a Design System Across a Core Surface
The Feed is one of IMVU’s most trafficked surfaces. As part of a design system upgrade, the Feed required a full refactor to replace legacy components with new standardized ones—without disrupting user behavior.
What I did
Rebuilt all Feed Post screens using standardized design components
Audited legacy UI patterns and mapped them to the new system
Labeled components and states to support engineering implementation
Why it matters
Improved UI consistency across a high-traffic Feed surface
Reduced ambiguity and rework during engineering implementation
Established a scalable foundation for future Feed Post features
